This is a quiet film, so it starts. And then it leaps out from behind some bushes and gives you a fucking heart attack. Seriously. I’m in the hospital as I type this.
This movie is weird, freaky, and creepy as hell. Here’s the premise. After a seemingly innocent sexual encounter, the main character finds herself plagued by strange visions and the inescapable sense that someone, or something, is following her. She and her friends must now find a way to escape the horrors that seem to be only a few steps behind.
This movie was scary as shit. I haven’t experienced scares like this in a long, long time. Seriously. This film is for fucking real. The tension and scares hold throughout the film. Yes there is a minor lull in the action at a point but it lasts like 2.5 seconds and then the action revs up and kicks you in the balls.
You think you have a bead on the film. Think you know when you the scares will come and what’s about to happen next but you have no fucking idea. I was on the edge of my toes. Try writing a book while you’re freaking out. Not. Fucking. Easy.
All in all, 5 out of 5 stars.
